No more pencils, no more books, no more teachers dirty looks! School is almost over and summer is around the corner. Plans for the summer are beginning to take shape. In May I have a trip to Florida with my friend Hilary. Then comes my cousin Eric's wedding over memorial weekend. I also have a trip to Vegas with my mom and sister planned and a concert with my boss Jami. We are going to see Zac Brown Band. Next comes the family reunion at Bear Lake, which I am very excited about and when we get back my sister and I have tickets to see Katy Perry.
When it's all over though and school starts back up the stresses come back, the sun tans fade, but the memories and priceless pictures remain.
Can I just say I am very excited for summer!

Watch Out Salt Lake City!
Over spring break my friend Hailee and I ventured to Salt Lake for a girl's weekend. We spend a day shopping at the Gateway, dinner at Benihana and tearing apart our hotel room.
After arriving at the Gateway in Salt Lake we started with lunch so we could get our energy. We soon after spent a lot of money on a lot of stuff. We had so many bags to carry by the end of the day our arms felt like they were about to fall off. We did, however, choose the perfect day to shop. We didn't go into one store that didn't have some sort of a sale going on. We spend a lot of our time in Buckle. It is our very favorite store, expensive, but still our favorite. We also ended up buying a lot of chocolate at the local chocolate factory.
Dinner at Benihana was next. It was delicious, but a little overrated. Personally I like our local Kobe a lot better. We were joined by a family who, for whatever reason, thought we were just hilarious. We really weren't that funny.
Next came the hotel room. We were so hyper after dinner that we were jumping on the beds attempting to take pictures of us in the air. We also took some in what we like to call the "wind tunnel" (below).
We really weren't in a wind tunnel just trying to get our hair to stand up. It looks really funny though. Hailee is one of my best friends and we had the greatest time on our two day trip.

Area 51
You are probably thinking about Area 51 as in aliens, but sorry to disappoint you I have never been there I am talking about Area 51 in Salt Lake. It is a dance club for 18 and over. A few weeks ago I went there with my friends Hilary and Liz. We had a blast and were able to dance in the cage most of the night. It wasn't until these guys surrounded us and started climbing up the cage and eventually squeezed in.
At first it was funny until they started seriously dancing on us. We had no idea if they were straight or gay, not that it mattered, but if they weren't dancing on a girl of some sort they were dancing on each other. This was extremely weird and made the whole situation that much more uncomfortable.
All of a sudden I was sandwiched between two guys. One was in the cage with me and the other was hanging on outside. I was being humped from every angle and was just standing there trying to wiggle my way out. My friends on the other hand were laughing their heads off at me. Rude, I know.
Finally, I said that I really didn't like being humped and they stopped. But, instead of leaving they said who's next and for payback I jokingly pointed to my friend Liz. They then sandwiched her. I found this hilarious.
Hilary eventually came to the rescue and they guys left. Seriously though, how do guys not get the hint. Us three girls are in the little cage on purpose. We want to be left alone. Some people! I'm just kidding, other than that mishap it was really fun.
I love dancing and love waking up the next morning being sore, you know you had a good night.

Get Sleazy!
On February 18, 2011 Ke$ha's "Get Sleazy" Tour hit Utah. The Great Saltair was packed with wall to wall people. Some took the get sleazy thing a little too far and were hammered. While others were a little young to be listenting to Ke$ha let alone attend her concert.
Her concert was amazing. If you don't like glitter it was not the place for you. There were people spraying you with glitter as you walked in and canons of glitter that exploded during certain songs. The lights were pretty cool too. Her first outfit even consisted of lighted glasses.
Now Ke$ha is know to be outrageous and crazy, this concert just proved that to be even more true. During the song "Grow a Pair" she actually had a dancing male part (for those of you who don't like dirty words). It was hilarious, but yet another reason why little kids should not have been there.
The concert was a blast and I would definately go to another one of her shows. My friends Alexa and Ashli came with me. We got all dressed up and made the most of every second we were there.
